In order to enjoy your cofee at it’s very best we suggest you pay close attention to the quality of the water that you use when brewing. Water hardness and chemical balance can greatly affect the taste of your coffee. With other single cup coffee makers you generally need to use pre-filtered water when brewing, but Cuisinart have thoughtfully included a replaceable charcoal water filter in the SS700. This will effectively remove not only chlorine and other chemicals from the water you use, but should also extend the life of your SS700 by ensuring scale is less likely to build up over time. Obviously it’s important to change the filter to preserve it’s effectiveness and Cuisinart recommend that you do this every 60 days.

In all the Cuisinart SS700 is a feature-laden single cup coffee maker that, when teamed with the variety and great tastes of K-Cups, makes for a winning product. If we had a complaint, it is one that is common to many single serve machines – the coffee pods are just darn expensive when compared to loose ground coffee.
